Abstract The prospective approaches to the improving of athlete's motor actions technique were considered. The analysis of computer systems for measurement of athlete's movement characteristics was presented, particularly intelligent systems which traced the coordinates of athlete's body points automatically. Examples of simulators for athlete technical training were provided. The possibilities of athlete's movement modeling in the construction of rational patterns of sports technique were considered. It was established that the use of neurocomputing was prospective method to predict the improvement of sports technique.
