Abstract In work is submitted the analysis of formation features of motivations and their influence on quality of the students receiving a professional education. Students in relation to study and the future trade differ on extent of development at them professional motivation. Abilities are not the significant factor of educational activity. In teaching and educational process the big value is found with a motivational directedness of educational activity of the student.
