A PRAXIOLOGICAL MODEL WHICH ILLUSTRATES THE EFFICIENCY OF ACTIONS IN THE SOCCER GAME

Authors Szwarc Andrzej

Abstract The purpose of his work was to present a praxiological model which show the efficiency of actions in the game of soccer, based on observations of the final tournament matches during the World Championships in 2006. The successful teams were analyzed, from the quarterfinals to a final match. Actions, efficiency and reliability, during both offensive and defensive actions, were subject to this examination. It has been ascertained that the most effective actions are those of possessing a ball, and the actions of gaining the space; and scoring goals is similar to that which had been observed during finals in other top soccer tournaments. Additionally, in the best players manifest higher reliability in co-operation than in individual actions.
