PHYSICAL EDUCATION OF PUPILS 11 - 16 YEARS OLD IN GREAT BRITAIN

| Abstract |
The article is devoted to the analysis of content and methods organization lessons of physical education of pupils 11 - 16 years old in Great Britain. Investigates special features of National Curriculum (III - IV key stages) in England. Presence of additional theoretical lesson allows to learn theoretical bases of the specified subject and to select examination on the Over-all Certificate of Secondary education. At the third key stage to pupils it is entitled a choice of 4 means from 6. On the fourth for a choice 2 aspects of motorial activity are obligatory. The opportunity of a choice of sports specialization raises interest to physical training, shaping purposeful installation to regular holdings by physical training.
