EEG POWER FEATURES OF FIELD-DEPENDENT AND FIELD-INDEPENDENT SUBJECTS DURING INTELLECTUAL ACTIVITY

Authors Kozachuk N.O.

Abstract Basic electroencephalographic rhythms power dynamics were studied during rest state and intellectual activity depending on observed persons cognitive style. It was shown, that field-dependent subjects have more expressed EEG-reactions, related to stimulus perception readiness: generalized alpha- and beta-rhythm power decrease, and decrease of theta- and delta-rhythm power in posterior associative areas. Field-independent subjects have more expressed power dynamics of basic EEG rhythms during state changes.
