Abstract The results of the years research of a department of athletics, cycling and winter sports. The studies involved about 800 skilled athletes. It is developed multi-functional model of technical action and physical condition of athletes. Discloses the content and approaches to correction of the training process in the disciplines of athletics. It is develop practical guidance for evaluating the level of physical fitness and physical condition of athletes. Practical recommendations on the construction of the training process of athletes in cyclic and acyclic disciplines of athletics.
